"I Don't Wanna Dance" was a number one single by Eddie Grant and in the UK the track was at number one for three weeks in November 1982. It was also released in the US in the fall of 1983 and enjoyed some success there.

The Music and lyrics were written and produced by Grant himself and it was the most successful of his solo singles in the UK
